New podcast episode: People with Russian backgrounds in Germany
In the latest episode of the ZOiS podcast Roundtable Osteuropa, our PI Félix Krawatzek and Alex Yusupov (Head of the Russia Programme at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation) discuss our latest research findings on people with Russian backgrounds in Germany, moderated by Sophia Winkler.
The episode focuses on questions of origin, identity constructions and political orientations of this heterogeneous population group. In addition, empirical findings on voting behaviour, social dynamics and social participation are presented.
Another focus is on new lines of conflict surrounding remembrance and identity in the German context.
