German emigrants to Russia – contribution to ZDF Frontal

On 11 November, the ZDF magazine programme frontal aired a report on Germans emigrating to Russia. The report examines political and social motives as well as the role of networks that specifically target emigrants.

MoveMeRU PI Félix Krawatzek contextualises the topic in the report. In our research, however, this phenomenon appears only as a marginal aspect, which nevertheless says a lot about the power of autocracies.
