Family Convergence in a Polarised Environment: The Political Socialisation of Youth in Poland
Félix Krawatzek and Hakob Matevosyan have published an initial article on our research. Family convergence in a polarised environment: the political socialisation of youth in Poland was published online on 25 February 2026 in *European Politics and Society*.
The article presents the results of an online survey of 2,117 young people in Poland (aged 16–34) and examines the extent to which political attitudes and social values among young people and their parents align or diverge. The findings reveal varying patterns of agreement and disagreement within families, which are linked, among other things, to parents’ political engagement, religiosity, intra-family conflicts and gender dynamics.
