Umkämpftes Erinnern in der postmigrantischen Gesellschaft
From 23 to 25 June, our team member Hakob Matevosyan will participate in the conference "Umkämpftes Erinnern in der postmigrantischen Gesellschaft" (Contested Memory in the Post-Migrant Society) in Munich.
The event is a joint early summer conference of the sections "Soziale Probleme, Soziale Kontrolle" (Social Problems, Social Control) and "Migration und ethnische Minderheiten" (Migration and Ethnic Minorities) of the German Society for Sociology (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Soziologie).
Hakob will present a paper co-authored with Félix Krawatzek entitled ‘Victory or Day of Sorrow? World War II remembrance among (Soviet) Russian background diaspora communities.’
