New dekoder series
Ukraine explainers with ZOiS participation
With a contribution on ‘Independence à la Ukraine’ by Andrii Portnov, the online medium dekoder is launching a new series with explainers on Ukraine in cooperation with ZOiS. In dekoders article series (‘Gnosen’), researchers write scientifically sound explanatory texts, which offer concise and easy-to-read insights into specific topics.
Since dekoder was founded, the Gnosen format has complemented the curated and translated articles from independent (exiled) media in Russia and Belarus and Ukraine. The new series now provides detailed background information on the history, politics and culture of Ukraine – with Gnosen on selected people, events and terms. Researchers from various branches of Ukraine studies will write the texts.
