Pilot survey among Russian migrants in Georgia and Armenia

The Russian war in Ukraine challenges the fieldwork planned as part of the ERC project. The opportunity to conduct a survey among the Russian communities in Georgia and Armenia in late 2022 is therefore also a great opportunity to assess whether one of these two countries might be included in the research design developed for MoveMeRU. The survey, developed jointly with Isabelle DeSisto (Princeton University) and George Soroka (Harvard University) seeks to explore the underlying social and political attitudes of those who have recently departed from Russia, compared to those who have moved to the South Caucasus before February 2022. A set of questions is also devoted to what these Russians make of the war in Ukraine and what position they take in the conflict.
