Support for Ukrainian journalists at risk
Journalist-in-Residence-Program
As part of its Journalist-in-residence program, ZOiS and the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB) offer a stipend of up to three months for a journalist from Ukraine. The selected journalist will have the opportunity to continue the journalistic work at the WZB and to exchange regularly with researchers of both institutes.

Statement
On the ban on international institutions in Russia
On 8 April, Russia’s Ministry of Justice has revoked the licenses of a long list of organisations, among them partners of ZOiS. This decision further shrinks the space for political analysis, discussions about human rights and democratic values, and cooperation with Western partners.
