German attitudes to Russia after the Navalny poisoning

The findings of a ZOiS survey show that the poisoning of Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny has polarised German public opinion on Russia. The country is increasingly seen as a threat, yet more respondents than before describe Vladimir Putin as an “effective president”.
