The Centre for Eastern European and International Studies is looking for a
Student Assistant (m/f/d)
The Centre for East European and International Studies (ZOiS) is an independent, international, publicly funded research institute. It focuses on foundational and policy-relevant academic research on Eastern Europe and shares the results with policymakers, the media, and the broader public.
We are looking for support in the research cluster Political Economy and Integration.
Tasks:
► Literature, media and background research
► Support with publications
► Support in the preparation and implementation of events.
Requirements:
► At least two completed university semesters (studies in political science, social science or economics)
► confident handling of Office software
► interest in Eastern Europe and the interconnections between politics and economics
►Very good knowledge of English; good knowledge of Ukrainian, Russian or German desirable
► independent, precise and reliable work.
The working time is 40,6 hours per month within the framework of a marginal employment (538€). The position is to be filled as of 1 November 2024 and is initially limited to twelve months. An extension is intended.
